Weekly Meeting on Unions.

We were stunned that our meeting had over 30+ members in attendance!

Our meeting began with discussion on events, an ice breaker to get out some stereotypes that we all had on unions, a power point, and then a stirring discussion.

Major topics of debate included child protection, difference in time from unions’ involvement with government, and . . . China.

Something that I personally noticed was that many of us are aware of the philosophy of unions, but not necessarily the nitty gritty facts.  This same ideology can be applied to other areas of study as well — and while sometimes we don’t want to learn those facts, it may turn out to be helpful in the future.

Anyway, good stuff.  Stay tuned for more meeting recaps!
